There are many various networking and technological resources that are available at the majority of colleges and universities. Chances are that your college is equipped with WiFi, scanners, a library with all the technological fixings, copy and fax machines, and more. These are all things that you can take advantage of while growing your business. Furthermore, your college may have an entrepreneurship club and great alumni networks for you to tap into to help get the word around about your growing business.

2. Campus Advisory Boards

If your college has a school of business, then there are even more countless resources for you to use, particularly faculty advisory boards in a range of departments including finance, marketing, legal, accounting, management, etc. Access these advisory boards and use their expertise during your journey. Chances are that your professors will be more than happy to share their knowledge with you, and they’ll most likely respect your decision to start up your own business.

3. Cheap Labor Right There on Campus

If you need manpower to help get your business off the ground, look no further than your fellow college students. College students are perfect for helping you with your business—and for fairly cheap. They’ll jump at the opportunity to gain the experience and will also appreciate the extra spending money.
